Troop 457 in Action
Meetings during the school year are held at Liberty School Cafeteria on Monday’s from 7:30—9:00
PM. When school is out we meet at the D’s pool on Monday’s from 7:00—8:30 PM.
The troop camps an average of one weekend a month. Summer camp is in June or July. The Troop usually sends Scouts to Philmont every other year
and to the National Jamboree every 4 years.
Scouts participate in a number of service projects, including Scouting for Food, Adopt-a-Highway program, and Eagle projects developed by fellow Scouts.
Fundraising activities keep the troop well-equipped and supplement expenses not covered by individual dues. Scouts can earn money for their “Scout Accounts” by working at the Saline Fair
pop & popcorn sale and BSA popcorn sales.
